Required Training for Staff, Faculty, and Academic Appointees
Employees (i.e., faculty and staff) are legally required to:
- Take a two hour Sexual Violence and Harassment, Anti-Discrimination, Prevention and Education (SHAPE) training within 30 days of hire
- Complete the SHAPE training every two years
This can be done online or through quarterly Zoom classes offered by HDAPP.
The training includes information on their responsibility to report prohibited conduct. For information about reporting obligations, please see HDAPP's website on Responsible Employees.
